ISO 9001 - Quality Management System

ISO 9001 provides a framework and set of principles that ensure a common-sense approach to the management of our organisation to consistently satisfy customers and other stakeholders. In simple terms, it provides T W Logistics with the basis for effective processes and effective people to deliver an effective product or service time after time. We are proud to be ISO 9001 certified and its impact on ensuring the highest service levels that we can offer our customers.

Trade Assurance Scheme for Combinable Crops

TASCC was developed because farmers and end users wanted to be sure that crops of grain, oilseeds and pulses were treated responsibly once they left the farm. This includes wheat and barley providing independent verification that the trade is meeting food safety laws. The scheme dovetails with UFAS and with the UK livestock assurance (Red Tractor) schemes which the major supermarkets make a requirement for the home-produced livestock products they buy.

UKWA - United Kingdom Warehousing Association

UKWA is Britain’s leading trade organisation for the logistics sector, with over 650 members. UKWA members include warehousing and logistics providers as well as manufacturers, retailers, wholesalers and suppliers to the logistics industry with T W Logistics being a full member for many years. Their mission is to protect and advance the interests of members, support business development and promote industry best practice.

RHA - Road Haulage Association

The Road Haulage Association (The RHA) is the only UK trade association dedicated solely to the needs of UK road transport operators. It is the voice of the road haulage profession, a champion of its interests and a respected partner to the broader logistics community. They represent more than 6,000 member companies operating around 80,000 HGVs. These are micro, SME and large operators, including 82 of the Motor Transport Top 100 transport contractors.

BIFA - British International Freight Association

The British International Freight Association (BIFA) is the trade association for UK-registered companies engaged in international movement of freight by all modes of transport, air, road, rail and sea. BIFA has around 1500 corporate members, known generally as freight forwarders, who offer a wide range of services within these various modes. BIFA represents over 1500 UK companies in the logistics and supply chain management sector.

FIAS - Fertiliser Industry Assurance Scheme

FIAS covers the assurance of all fertilisers intended for agriculture, horticulture, forestry, amenity and any other such commercial use. It does not apply to fertilisers packaged for home garden use. The issues and the risks vary according to the type of fertiliser and it is for this reason that the entire scheme has adopted a “Risk assessment” approach to achieving the necessary level of assurance.
